Mauritius Bramer Bank License Revoked - Dawood Rawat Files Conspiracy Complaint:

04/06/2025

Dawood Rawat, the former Chairman Emeritus of the BAI Group, has broken his silence a decade after Bramer Bank's license was revoked.

On June 3, 2025, he filed a complaint with the Central Criminal Investigation Department (CCID), alleging a conspiracy that led to the collapse of Bramer Bank and the BAI Group.

Rawat claims that the revocation of the bank's license in April 2015 was part of a deliberate plot against him and his business empire. He has provided the CCID with what he believes are crucial elements to shed light on the alleged conspiracy.

Rawat's lawyer, Rishi Hardowar, mentioned that several names are implicated, and more details will be revealed as the investigation progresses.

In his statements, Rawat expressed that the decision to revoke the bank's license caused significant harm to his family and the broader community. He emphasised that he is seeking justice and aims to expose the truth behind the events that led to the downfall of his financial group

This development marks a significant turn in a long-standing controversy and could have far-reaching implications for those involved.
