Jersey Suspicious Activity Reports: Industry Feedback Q4 2022


The 4th (Q4) statistical report of 2022 by the FIU, on SAR feedback to industry is now available.

The quarterly report aims to provide feedback to submitters of SARs on recorded data received by the Jersey FIU.

The information contained in SARs is vitally important as it allows the Jersey FIU to better understand.

  • Suspected criminal activity,
  • ML/TF typologies,
  • Emerging threats,
  • Risks, and

SAR information will be used.

  • To structure the work of the Jersey FIU and ensure it is effective in the way it uses financial intelligence,
  • Feeds into wider work carried out by other local competent authorities tasked with financial crime strategy development/ implementation.
