Jersey Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU)’s Post
SAR TEMPLATE UPDATE: As can be seen from the recent release of the Jersey FIU’s Q1 SAR Feedback Report, the statistical data the new SAR Template is providing is vastly improved. We are grateful to our colleagues in industry who have adapted to the use of the Template so quickly.
As part of the new SAR Template Project it was always the Jersey FIU’s intention to carry out regular reviews post implementation of the Template (‘go live’ 1 February 2022).
Today is such a milestone which sees the SAR Working Group, which is a combination of representatives from the Jersey FIU and industry colleagues, convene to discuss post implementation observations. Feedback from this meeting will be provided to all local SAR submitters in due course via appropriate channels.
Please remember there are helpful guides which can be found within POLSAR on the Help dropdown menu to assist if you are submitting a SAR.

These include 1] Non-commercial research and private study, 2] Criticism, review and reporting of current events, 3] the copying of works in any medium as long as the use is to illustrate a point. 4] no posting is for commercial purposes [payment]. (for a full list of exemptions, please read here www.gov.uk/guidance/exceptions-to-copyright]. Concerning the exceptions, Comsure will acknowledge the work of the source author by providing a link to the source material. Comsure claims no ownership of non-Comsure content. The non-Comsure articles posted on the Comsure website are deemed important, relevant, and newsworthy to a Comsure audience (e.g. regulated financial services and professional firms [DNFSBs]). Also, Comsure does not seek any payment for highlighting these important articles.
