JERSEY ATTEND 67th plenary of Moneyval in Strasbourg

Jersey Law Officers’ Department members recently attended the 67th plenary of Moneyval in Strasbourg.

Among the matters discussed and adopted as the 5th round mutual evaluation of Jersey, whereby Jersey is assessed for its systems, standards and efforts in fighting financial crime.
 
The final report will be published in July 2024 [the 24th as suggested by Jonathan Groom*] and will remain confidential until then.

Jersey's Attorney General 
Mark Temple KCSteven Meiklejohn and Edel Murphy represented the Law Officers' Department as part of a wider delegation from Jersey, including individuals from across the public sector agencies, which are together responsible for fighting financial crime.
