Help shape future Revenue Jersey service for the Financial and Related Professional Services [FRPS] sector

Guy Fawkes FB (1)

JERSEY | CONSULTATION | TAX | TIME TO WIN

  • Revenue Jersey (part of Treasury and Exchequer) is seeking views on how it can better support and engage with Jersey’s Financial and Related Professional Services (FRPS) sector.

  • Feedback will inform the design of a dedicated FRPS support service within Revenue Jersey. This is not a consultation on tax policy or legislative change.

Key details

  • Start date: 22 October 2026

  • Deadline for comments: 18 November 2026

  • Responses publish date: 29 January 2027

  • Type: Other

Who is being asked for views?

  • The FRPS sector includes financial services businesses, law firms, accountancy firms, tax advisers, compliance and regulatory advisers, corporate finance advisers, insolvency and restructuring specialists, and other professional advisers supporting the finance industry.

  • Revenue Jersey wants input from operational specialists, professionals, managers, senior leaders, advisers and industry representatives.

Why the focus on FRPS?

The sector is central to Jersey’s economy:

  • Provides 2 in every 5 jobs on the Island

  • Generates more than half of the Island’s economic output

  • Contributes £6 in every £10 of tax revenue

This engagement forms part of the Time to Win programme, which aims to strengthen the sector’s competitiveness and support economic growth. Delivery of Time to Win is also a key action in the proposed Common Strategic Policy 2026–2030.

How feedback will be used

Responses (plus research into approaches used in similar jurisdictions) will help Revenue Jersey understand:

  • What works well

  • Where improvements are needed

  • What support would be most valuable

  • How it can better support and engage with the sector

Findings and recommendations will be published in January 2027 and used to design and implement the dedicated FRPS support service.

How to take part
