Comsure - How We’re Supporting Jersey Firms with Compliance in 2026 (and How We Can Help You)
21/04/2026
I wanted to share a quick update on what we’ve been supporting our clients with here at Comsure over the first quarter of 2026. As always, it’s very much business as usual, helping regulated and supervised firms in Jersey strengthen their compliance frameworks, reduce risk, and operate with confidence.
From January to March 2026, we’ve been actively assisting several firms with the following:
- “AI” compliance projects – including governance, risk assessment, and practical implementation of AI tools in a regulated environment
- Business Risk Assessments (BRA) – thorough testing and updating to ensure they remain robust and effective
- Customer Risk Assessments (CRA) – reviewing and refreshing your approaches for better risk segmentation and due diligence
- Board effectiveness assessments – supporting governance and demonstrating strong oversight
- File reviews – independent, practical assessments to identify gaps and drive improvements
- Compliance monitoring programmes (CMP) – designing, testing, and enhancing ongoing monitoring frameworks
- Targeted training – tailored sessions that equip teams with the knowledge they need right now
Whether you’re facing increasing regulatory expectations, adopting new technology, or want a fresh pair of expert eyes on your existing processes, our team is here to help, flexibly and efficiently.
I would love to hear how things are going on your side. Are any of the above areas currently on your radar? Or is there something else keeping your compliance team busy?
Please reply to this email with a convenient time for a quick 15–20-minute call (or a face-to-face chat over tea/coffee) where we can explore how Comsure can support you, whether that’s a short project, fractional compliance support, or something else.
Looking forward to catching up soon.
Best regards, Mathew
