A JFSC “SUSTAINABLE FINANCE” consultation on enhancements to the Codes of Practice (CoP) and Notes has been issued.

The JFSC has launched a consultation to help create a framework that unlocks sustainable finance opportunities while assisting businesses in managing risk.

 The consultation is concerning Jersey’s Sustainable Finance Action Plan [SFAP] and proposed enhancements to the Codes of Practice and Notes

As you will see below, if the codes are changed as proposed in the consultation, there will be changes to the CoP & notes as follows.

What the consultation covers 

  • The JFSC are asking for feedback on proposed enhancements to the Codes of Practice and Notes relating to the SFAP and two of the JFSC’s lead actions as part of
    • Sustainability risk 
    • Business integrity risk 

and

    • The potential impact of the proposals.  
  • The JFSC consultation paper outlines: 
    • The JFSC proposed enhancements 
    • Why the JFSC are consulting  
    • Who will be affected 

How to share your feedback 

  • The JFSC ask for feedback by no later than 11:59 pm on Friday, 4 July 2025 through: 
  • All responses received to this consultation through the above will be considered.

Feedback will be published.

  • The JFSC will publish a feedback paper for this consultation in Q3 2025.

  • The JFSC are hosting consultation drop-in sessions where you can meet with the JFSC team, share your views, and get more information: 
    • Thursday 5 June (9.30 am to 11.45 am)  
    • Friday 6 June (9.30 am to 12 pm)  
    • Friday 13 June (9.30 am to 12 pm) 
  • To participate, please send an email in advance of the session you wish to attend to policy@jerseyfsc.org, providing the following details: 
    • Your name 
    • The date and time you wish to attend 
    • The number of participants
